Piracy Funds SpaceTravel
While the concept for this project is inspired by Pluto Shits on the Universe, the construction of the project is inspired by Piracy Funds Terrorism, a mixtape from M.I.A. and Diplo. Their liberal use of samples made the album impossible to sell*, so they passed it out at live shows. Piracy Funds Terrorism is a free, creative exploration of sound and rhythm, a tapestry of global cultural influences. Madonna and LL Cool J met Baile Funk and Sunshowers.
I am making this project as freely as M.I.A. and Diplo created this mixtape. The goal of BLK Plutoh is to freely explore what our culture is, was, and will be.
